Good but slow...
It’s free, it works, but it’s very slow… 7 minutes to convert 30 MP3’s on an i7 MBP...
No high sampling rate support
Tried to convert my 24 bit / 96kHz flacs, but only got it to output 24/44.

Better than other batch converters but has some way to go..
Does not convert some flac files (drops them out) and transcribes file names in batch conversion based on it’s own rules (probably bug).

A Batch converter should be able to read folders. Everything must be on root for this app to work..
I have to convert less than 100 files at a time. If I do more than that, it takes its sweet time processing… “something,” and the files don’t go anywhere at all. Less than 100 and they show up. It’s quite odd. This particular instance is FLAC -> MP3. Also the “MP3” button sometimes disappears. Really strange. Over all however, at least it works. Looking forward to updates. I’d like recursive folder reading for importing, however, as well.

Unbelievably slow!!!
This app is unbelievably slow! I converted one double album. It took almost 10 minutes! A total waste of money!!!

It works!
I needed an app to do one thng, found it, bought it, it worked right away, and done. No muss, no fuss. Very straightforward, no hype or "in-app purchases", no registering, no hoops to jump through. Interface could be cleaned up, if only to allow for longer filepaths to be shown, but if you guys didn't change it it would be fine. Oh, and your "About" info is hysterical!
Great App
This does exactly as it should, no long wait and good quality, I hope to see this go further into Audio and possibly Video conversions. Who knows maybe editing as well, thanks guys.
FINALLY!
I've been lookng for a reliable audio converter since the Music app started syncing with the cloud. This app is absolutely perfect. I seriously mean that. They're not paying me for this. Music Convert does exactly what it should, and is ready to fly upon installation. App of the Year, even though it was released 5 years ago.

Takes a bit of noodlin', but only a small bit, and by that, this app works great. It's always worked quick and smooth for me, without fail. Solid good.
Real Easy Converter
This app is worth the small price. It is fast and easy to use. For some reason many of my ripped CD's were converted to M4A's. It was a breeze to batch convert a full flash drive to use in my car.
It gets the job done...
Thankfully it is does get the job done... Its very inexpensive - its saving grace - but it's hard to give this any than a 3 star with the amount of time that it takes to convert files...
Super Easy to Use!
I had original AIFF files from a CD we made several years ago, but no MP3s! I needed to convert them to upload to our new website. Using this app was a snap. Easy Peasy! Thanks Music Convert Audio!
This is not good for AIFF to WAV
Interface looks terrible on Big Sur. Most importantly it would chop off the last 1 or 2 seconds of my AIFF file from the WAV so the conversion was abruptly truncated. Maybe the other formats dont suffer from this problem, I didnt test. I uninstalled this and grabbed Audacity (free) which not only worked, but made perfect, MUCH smaller WAV files.
Great Music Converter
This app works perfectly and converts batches of songs at one time. No more one by one. It gives you just about everything the casual music listener could want, many formats and you can pick your destination file. Seemed to work swiftly and did so without any problems. Well worth the small price and I recommend it highly. You won't be disappointed.
Only one complaint
Really happy you can batch convert. I’ve been converting sound fx files from .caf to .wav and the process is fast. I put the files in the program in the trash before adding more files to convert. About every third batch the program won’t see the files that were dragged to it and the program has to be closed and reopened. It only takes a few seconds but it took a while to find the fix.

Love this app. I didn’t realize not all music files are compatible with iTunes. Used this to convert .wma to mp4. Only thing I didn’t realize was you have to delete the list you just converted before converting more, otherwise you will get duplicates, triplicates, etc. Also changing the music export path to a folder on the desktop helped make finding the converted files easy. Only reason I’m not giving it a solid 5 is because of the lack of instructions. Very satisfied! :)

I have spent so much time and funds to find this and if anyone out there needs to convert files even if once a year because this is fast easy and does everything in a flash. I highly recommend and I dont do that often
Super easy to use
I wont witter on. Suffice it to say that this is just great and easy to use and works really well on my 10 year old mini. My buddy and I use it to convert the songs we record so we can email or whatsapp them to our friends in formats their phones like. Very pleased with this one.

fabulously simple and fast
I needed to convert audio files from m4a to mp3 but I didn't need a lot of sophisticated tools. This did it simply, fast and safely (rather than using an online converter)
Works Nominally
Using under macOS Catalina 10.15.3 Average. Pros: * Does what it is supposed to and works reliably. * UI is simple and easy to understand. Cons: * Doesn't allow applying changes to tags across multi-select (you have to edit each file individually). * No progress indication -- app UI just fades and becomes disabled. At first I wasn't sure it was functioning.

Needs work
Converts anything to the format you want. If you have a plain old text file in the folder, you get a converted file. It's not a smart app, just takes in files and spits out the conversion. 0 error detection and over-writes files with the same name, so be careful or you could lose files.

I needed to convert some AIFF music to MP3 to play on my flash drive in my car. I don't know anything about converting music but needed to or I couldn't use the flash drive in my car. I asked computer friends and they didn't know either. I set out with the App Store and found Music which wasn't free but not that expensive either. It had a good rating so I went for it. I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. Just open the program and follow what it says to do. WOW, converted 9 songs in a short time. Dragged them to the flash drive and DONE. Gotta LOVE it! Now to do my favorites on 3 or 4 more CD's. Wonderful program!
Great Little App!!
I had a bunch of .WMA files to convert to .MP3. I bought this App based on the reviews. I don't know how big a batch it will convert at a time, but I went through about 500 songs in batches of 20 and it never even blinked. Sure, it's not the fastest converter out there, but it does what it does very well, and you cannot beat the price. Highly recommend.

For my straightforward batch conversions, it works well. Also, it is 64 bit for Mojave compatibility.

Worked great for what I needed - especially for free! Thank you! One helpful tweek, auto populate the Album, Artist, etc. on the tracks following entering info for track 1. Then it would be 6 stars!
Best yet...
No hassle, no nonsense… no ( as of yet encountered ) limitations. This is the best free Converter I’ve found so far√ An added bonus is that they aren’t constantly trying to sell you a “pro” version. What you see is what you get & it works. Ugly dock icon. Nice GUI though.

Music Convert - Audio Convert
The interface was pretty intuitive. I didn’t have to look long or far to see the two selections that I needed to make: output file type and location of output files. I would have liked it a little better if the conversion went faster, but the speed was by no means intolerable.
Works well for small batches
Program did the job of converting a 14 GB iTunes library from .m4a to .mp3 for use in my car stereo. However, it was slow since it didn't seem to want to do more than around 10 albums at a time and couldn't deal with nested folders (i.e albums within an artists folder), so I had to open all my artist folders and just import the album folders. It didn't want to handle repeated imports either, I had to shut down between groups of 10 albums. But, for the price, it is great.

Does what it's supposed to!
I just needed to convert some aif files to mp3 so that I could burn a disc. Worked fine.
Did what I needed it to do
Not bad. I have a ton of .m4a's I ripped from my CD collection. I collect vintage Mac's and just for kicks wanted to load up my ancient Powermac G3 running iTunes 2.0.4 on OS/9 w/music. Realized the version's so old, it won't support m4a audio types. Anyway, I think there's a batch limit of 75 at a time with this app and it needs a resizable window, but other than that, you can't beat the price.
Better Than Hoped For!
This is the best free music converter I have found. It works perfectly and does albums at a time instead of one song.

It’s Ok, but doesn’t handle folders at all.
It is acceptable if you’re converting a single folder. But i’ve not gotten it to work importing files that are more than one folder deep. Even if you import multiple albums each from a different folder, it still dumps everything into one folder and isn’t smart enough to separate the albums. I’ll stick with Max.
Easy to Use!!!
Because I’m unfamiliar with Apple OS, file types, hierarchy, etc., I’m taking this pretty slow. But, so far so good. If I can get all of my music located, imported, converted, and exported with no problems, I’ll be happy. Once I get all of my music back to my nano, I’ll be extremely happy.
